ધર્મવંશી આચારજ ધાર્યા રે, ગુરૂ કરી ગાદીએ બેસાર્યા રે

જેવું અમારું કુળ મનાશે રે, તેને તુલ્ય બીજું કેમ થાશે રે

માટે વિચારીને વાત કીધી રે, ઘણું સમજીને ગાદી દીધી રે

માટે સહુ ધર્મકુળ માનજો, સહુ કરજો એની સેવ

અન્ય જન જેવા એહ નહિ, એ છે જાણજો મોટા દેવ

માટે સૌરે'જો એને વચનેરે, ત્યાગી ગૃહી સહુ એક મનેરે

રે'જો ધર્મવંશીને ગમતેરે, વર્તશો માં કોયે મન મતેરે

એહ કહે તેમ સહુ કરજોરે, પુછયા વિના પગ ન ભરજોરે

હાથ જોડીને રેજો હજુરરે, કરી ડા'પણ પોતાનું દુરરે

વિધા ગુણ બુદ્ધિ ને બળેરે, એને દબાવવા નહિ કોઇ પળેરે

ત્યાગી રાગી ને કવિ કોય હોયરે, તોય એને માનજો સહુ કોયરે

વાદ વિવાદ કરી વદનેરે, એશું બોલશો માં કોઇ દનેરે

એની વાત ઉપર વાત આણીરે, કેદિ વદશો માં મુખે વાણીરે

એને રાજી રાખશો જો તમેરે, તો તમ પર રાજી છીએ અમેરે

એમ જાણી લેજો સહુ જનરે, એમ બોલિયા શ્રી ભગવનરે

Jay Shree Swaminarayan,

Bhagwan Shree Swaminarayan established the Swaminarayan sampraday with a strong base and belief rooted in Dharma, Bhakti, Gnyan, and Vairagya, so that every human being can reach his eternally great Akshardham. One of the most novel aspects of this sampraday is the establishments of separate guru for men and women. Bhagwan Swaminarayan appointed descendents of his own family (Dharmakul) as Acharya for inheritance of GURU GADI. In the Ramayan, Bhagwan Shree Ram’s feet touched a stone just one time & it turned into a woman named ‘AHALYA’. While Purna Purshottam Bhagwan Shree Swaminarayan held the hands of both of the Acharyas in his holy hands he said “Both of the Acharya represent me, if anybody is going to offer anything to them, I shall accept it in Akshardham.” This is the type of divine power he has given to the Acharyas. Every holy book in our Sampraday gives great importance to Acharya mahima.

Any devotee wishing to attain moksh to Akshardham must first receive Gurumantra from the Dharmavanshi Acharya. We should be extremely thankful to our Acharya for making us capable of moksh, and we should thankfully honor our Acharya on the day of Gurupunam. This is the tradition of our Swaminarayan Sampraday. H.H. 1008 Shree Acharya Shree Tejendraprasadji Maharaj, the 6th Acharya of Ahmedabad Gadi adorned his Acharyapad Gadi to his son Shree Koshlendraprasadji Maharaj as the 7th Acharya on this supreme seat of our sect. Thus a golden era in our sect began as His Holy Highness Shree Koshlendraprasadji Maharaj leads and shows a path of ‘kalyan’ to the followers that is based on the strongest and most valued principles laid down by Shree Swaminarayan Bhagwan and simultaneously balancing it with the touch of a modern age, without compromising any Agnya of Lord Swaminarayan. His extraordinary vision for our sect has always motivated the followers, especially the youth, to take this sect to the new heights by determination and dedication.

H. H. Shree 1008 Acharya Shree Koshlendraprasadji Maharaj has always upheld Lord Shree Swaminarayan Bhagwan’s top most principles of Upasana and Agyna along with the protection of Dharma and Satya as part of his life long commitment to all the devotees. The responsibility given by Lord Shree Swaminarayan to him as an 7th Acharya, include giving the true knowledge of our Sampraday with his simple thinking, soft nature, self confidence, and his deep religious knowledge as he guides all our satsangis towards Lord Shree Swaminarayan.
